There are many facets to our Community Assistance Program. One initiative that we focus on is helping individuals or families to either re-home a pet they can no longer keep or a stray they have taken in and want to find a home for. On a bigger scale, when or our resources allow, we offer assistance to other rescues and shelters in our area who are struggling to meet the needs of their animals & provide the best care for. We also try to offer assistance to those in our our community who may be struggling financially and find that providing basic care for their pets is above their means. Again when our resources allow, during colder months we can help by providing food, blankets and hay to people in our community that have pets that primarily live out doors. We work with many low-cost clinics for spay/neuter and vaccinations in our area and also with other rescues all over the state and country for placement in their rescue program or shelter if we are unable to take in additional animals at the time. One of the most challenging situations that we provide assistance with in East Texas is when cases of animal hoarding, neglect or abuse is discovered. If you or someone you know may benefit from our Community Assistance Program please contact us to find out how we can help.
